Experienced Chef Required

We are seeking an experienced, qualified chef with a demonstrated passion for the food industry. Ideally you will have:

  • experience working in a similar environment, including a la carte;
  • knowledge in Australian and European cuisines coupled with the ability to contribute in to menu design;
  • ability to mentor and guide Apprentice and Commis Chefs;
  • a calm approach during peak periods;
  • flexibility for a 7 day roster, including split shifts.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a genuine desire to contribute towards the success of 1918 Bistro and Grill and be a strong team player with respect for both sides of the pass. Your enthusiasm for local, seasonal cuisine will shine through and in return you will find a restaurant environment that is focused on providing the highest standards of customer service and encouraging of its team members.
